  1. WAZA-ARI:  In JUDO, throwing an opponent in a way which does not qualify it for a point, or IPPON, or holding an opponent in OSAEKOMI for at least twenty-five seconds. By receiving two waza-ari, a contestant can win a match even if no ippon points are scored. (See also Judo article).
